What time do the races start?
On track action usually starts at 6pm. The Grand Opening typically starts at 6.50pm every race meeting with the main action at 7pm. Please check the event page under "Schedule" for the event you plan on attending which will detail start times for the specific event.
Is there parking and what is the cost?
The Speedway car park caters for approximately 500 vehicles. General Parking is free. On street parking is also available on Wentworth St and Deniehy St.
Please Note: There is now General Admission access (as well as pit admission) into the venue via Deniehy St.
Is there reserved seating?
There are no reserved seats, although there is plenty of room at the facility with a 4,500-seat main straight grandstand and room for another 6,500 people in general admission including large grass hill areas to sit-on.
For Premium Reserved Seating tickets are available for the Chequered Flag Club, with tickets starting from $65 per night. The Chequered Flag Club can caterer for up to one-hundred guests, with an unobstructed view of the racetrack in air-conditioned comfort among the corporate suites which includes a complimentary alcoholic beverage and canapes.
Where can I sit?
A general admission ticket allows access to grandstand seating in our main straight grandstand, back straight grandstand and on the grass hill areas in turns one, two and four.
Can I bring food and drinks into the venue?
Yes, you can bring food and drinks. However please note NO GLASS can be brought onto premises.
Can I bring an esky?
Yes. However please note NO GLASS can be brought onto premises.
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets are available at the front General Admission gates for race nights. There are two General Admission gates, via the carpark on Wentworth St and the General Admission gate via Deniehy St. General Admission gates generally open at 3pm however please check the event page of the event that you are attending. EFTPOS / credit card facilities are available at the gate to purchase your tickets.
Can I hire a corporate box for the night?
Yes, corporate boxes for 14 or 28 people are available for hire on a nightly basis or for the whole season.
Tickets to the Chequered Flag Club are also available catering for up to seventy guests in a mixed group in the luxurious corporate surrounds. Please contact the raceway office on 02 9637 0411 during normal business hours for more information.
What sort of merchandise is available to purchase?
Tyrepower Sydney Speedway’s Pit Stop Shop is stocked full of Speedway merchandise and memorabilia including T-Shirts, Hoodies, Die-cast cars, Hats, Key Rings, Mousepads, Glow Stixs, Seat Cushions, etc. EFTPOS / credit card facilities are available at the Pit Stop Shop.
What food is available to purchase?
The raceway has food and drink outlets serving hot food such as kebabs, hot chips, pies, hot dogs, hamburgers, cappuccinos and lattes, etc. A full range of cold drinks are available from the Coca Cola range.
What is the rainout, cancellation or refund policy?
In the event of a rainout or meeting being postponed or cancelled for whatever reason, Tyrepower Sydney Speedway will not refund any money. No exceptions. A rainout or cancellation is defined as five events or less being successfully declared completed.
In the event of a rainout or meeting being cancelled and less than five events being successfully declared completed Tyrepower Sydney Speedway will honour rainchecks but will not refund any money.
Your numbered ticket stub received on entry to the Speedway is your raincheck. Please hold all original tickets as no replacements will be given for lost or tampered tickets.
Rainchecks will be honoured at any one event (of equal or lesser value) at Sydney Speedway in the same racing season. Rainchecks are not transferable to future seasons.
Where is Tyrepower Sydney Speedway located?
Tyrepower Sydney Speedway is located at 21 Wentworth St, Granville, NSW, 2142, just off Parramatta Rd near the corner of James Ruse Drive. Please see our

Is there public transport to the venue?
Clyde Train Station is approximately 10 minutes walk from Tyrepower Sydney Speedway. Clyde Train Station services the Western Line and Carlingford Line.
Granville Train Station is a further 5 minutes walk from Clyde Station and services the Blue Mountains Line, the South Line and the Western Line.

What is the best time to arrive at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway?

Can I take photos/video?
Yes, for personal use only.
Photos and Videos taken from Sydney Speedway may be displayed on the internet and/or distributed so long as there is no commercial charge involved.
Commercials Use:
Patrons that wish to take photos or videos for commercial use must seek written approval from Sydney Speedway in advance.
Patrons acknowledge that any film or other form of photograph, moving picture, still pictures or any sound recording of any events at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway are approved for personal use only and will not be used for any commercial use in any public manner. A person cannot make or reproduce or use any film or other form of photograph, moving picture, still pictures or any sound recording of the events or any part of it for profit, gain, public advertisement, display or for any other purpose except for the private enjoyment of the person, without the consent of Sydney Speedway Pty Ltd. If a person makes or reproduces or uses such photos, footage or recordings of the event or any part of it with or without the consent of the Sydney Speedway Pty Ltd, that person must on request by Sydney Speedway Pty Ltd assign, in writing, all copyright, all intellectual property and any derived remuneration received from the photos, footage or recordings to Sydney Speedway Pty Ltd.
Can I purchase a ticket to the pit area?
Yes, pit tickets are available to purchase for an additional cost at Turnstiles 1 and 2 of the Wentworth St Gate, plus the Deniehy St Gate. You must be over 16 years of age to enter the pit area, be wearing enclosed footwear and not under the influence of alcohol.
What is Tyrepower Sydney Speedway’s concession card policy?
Concession ticket prices are available for
Disability and Aged Pensioners only. A valid government issued concession card must be presented at the entry gates when purchasing your tickets. One concession ticket will be available per concession card holder. Companion Cards are recognised at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway events. On presentation of the Companion Card, a ticket will be offered at Disability and Aged Pensioners rates.
