It’s going to be furious! With the inclusion of Sprintcars to October 23 event; it sets the scene for a tantalizing taste of Winged-Warriors Warfare as Sprintcars headline the opening four weeks at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway (PCR).
There will be no time for competitors to slowly seep into the Tyrepower PCR season as the Sprintcars in Sydney will have completed four rounds of the 2010/2011 Sprintcar Track Championship before many competitors elsewhere in the country have even fired a shot in anger.
In the month of October – If it’s Sprintcars you want – It’s Sprintcars you are going to get!
In addition to including the October 23 round to the Tyrepower PCR Sprintcar Track Championship – the management at Tyrepower PCR has adjusted the January 22 Sprintcar date. While the January 22 fixture will still pay $5,000-to-win, it will be removed as a point-scoring round from the Tyrepower PCR Sprintcar Track Championship due to the date clash with Warrnambool’s Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.
“There is no doubt that Premier Speedway’s Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic is an iconic event of Australian Speedway,” said Tyrepower PCR General Manager, David Tapp. “As much as we would love to have all our Sprintcar teams here in late January, we understand that some Sydney-based competitors would appreciate the opportunity to compete in Victoria’s premier event.”
